Guidon hires two Senior Consultants to serve expanding client base

Mesa, AZ – November 11, 2008
Guidon Performance Solutions, a leader in Lean Sigma and business improvement consulting to the service sector, announced today the hiring of two new senior management consultants, Michael LaChapelle and Jeri Kuck to serve the company’s growing client base.

Former GE employees, LaChapelle and Kuck both have expertise in applying Lean thinking to the service sector and specialize in leading cultural transformations in healthcare, financial services and retail organizations. Together they bring almost 30 years of experience using Lean and Six Sigma to drive business process and performance improvement.

Prior to joining Guidon, LaChapelle held various positions at GE Energy and GE Healthcare. He also served on GE’s Corporate Six Sigma Training Council and led the integration of Lean tools with Six Sigma. Most recently, LaChapelle served as Vice President at GE Corporate Financial Services, where he was responsible for driving business process improvements for retail and private equity clients. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.

Kuck most recently served as Vice President at GE Corporate Financial Services , where she provided project management, Six Sigma and Change Acceleration Process (CAP) training for media, communications and entertainment clients. Prior to GE, Kuck spent six years working for GE Lighting in Eastern and Western Europe where she held several positions leading continuous process improvements and facilitating Lean transformations. She holds a B.A in English from the University of Kentucky.
