Durham, N.C. – December 15, 2010 – TBM Consulting Group, a leading global operations consultancy for the manufacturing and services sectors, today announced two new members to its Board of Directors: Mark Gottfredson, Partner and a senior leader of the Performance Improvement Practice at Bain & Company; and Ron Wince, President and CEO of Guidon Performance Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of TBM. Mr. Gottfredson and Mr. Wince will provide an outside and unique perspective to help TBM achieve stronger future growth.

Mark Gottfredson is a director of Bain & Company, a global business consultancy, in the firm’s Dallas office, which he founded in 1990. He is coauthor of The Breakthrough Imperative: How the Best Managers Get outstanding Results (HarperCollins, 2009), and his articles have appeared in Harvard Business Review, European Business Journal, the Globe and Mail the Economist, and the Dallas Business Journal. He has been named to Consulting Magazine’s list of top 25 consultants globally and is regularly quoted in publications, including the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, BusinessWeek, Fortune, the Economist, CBS MarketWatch and Investor’s Business Daily. Gottfredson received a BA in Japanese from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.

Ron Wince has overseen the start-up and growth of Guidon Performance Solutions to a full-service business process excellence and technology consulting firm. As president and chief executive officer, he uses his nearly two decades of experience to help enhance business results and garner customer satisfaction for the company’s growing client roster. Prior to founding Guidon, Ron held senior leadership positions within J.P. Morgan Chase, Freudenberg-NOK, and Lear Corporation.
